We are organising Inter house Doodle Art Competition (Grades 3-5) on 3 July 2021.
Please note-
🔺Theme: Nature
🔺This event will be conducted in 3 categories 3-5.
🔺 Doodling to be done on A5 sheet paper.
🔺 Pencil or colours doodling is allowed.
🔺 Do not use readymade material (glitter, stickers etc.)
🔺 ART must be your own original art work.
🔺 Name, Class and Section should be mentioned with the final submission of your doodle art.
🔺 Your DOODLE time limit will be 1 hour for each participant.
🔺 Once the Doodle art is complete, it will be shared by the participant to the respective house mistress on WhatsApp group.
🔺 Meeting details will be shared later.
🔺The decisions of the judges will be final and binding.

Judgement criteria:
Presentation – 10
Creativity – 10
Neatness – 10
Relevance to the theme- 10

Subject: Prime Minister’s Scheme for Mentoring Young Authors-YUVA (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors)
🔺Ministry of Education, Government of India, has launched the scheme of author- mentorship to train young and budding authors (below 30 years of age) in order to promote reading, writing and book culture in the country, and project India and Indian writings globally.
🔺The scheme called YUVA (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors) will be part of the India@75 Project (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) to bring to the forefront the perspectives of the young generation of writers on themes like Unsung Heroes, Freedom Fighters Unknown and Forgotten Places and their role in National Movement and other related themes in an innovative and creative manner.
🔺National Book Trust,India, Ministry of Education, Government of India, is the implementing agency of the Scheme.
🔺Details of the scheme are as follows:
1. Online Contest: An online National Contest is being organised from 1st June to 31st July 2021 to select the authors under the Scheme.
2. Selection: 75 authors will be selected.
3. Scholarship: Scholarship of Rs. 50,000 per month for a period of six months is
to be paid to each of the selected 75 authors.
🔺National Book Trust, India will be publishing the books produced by the young authors as part of the Mentorship Scheme.
