Subject: 2nd CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES for Academic the Session 2023-24

1. The 2nd Expression Series for the academic session 2023-24 will be organized by CBSE on the theme ‘G-20: India’s Vision for a harmonious World’.

🔸The topics for each category is given as under:

*Class- 3-5
*Medium- Paragraph (150 words)/ Painting
*Theme-

1. One earth one family- Save earth
2. My last visit to a tourist place in India with my family.

*Class- 6-8

• Medium- Essay (400 words)/ Painting/ Poem
  *Theme-

1. Tourism in India: a growing global attraction.
2. Digitalisation in daily life

*Class- 9-10
*Medium- Essay (700 words) / Painting / Poem
*Theme- 1. Strategies to promote cleaner, greener and a bluer future.

2. The impact of globalization on world economy

*Class- 11-12
*Medium- Essay (1000words) / Painting / Poem
*Theme-

1. India’s road map to renewable energy
2. Measures to promote self-
   sufficiency of food production in India.

🔸Conduct of Expression Series:
a. Conduct at the School Level:
i. Schools shall organise the school level Expression Series during school hours on the above topics from 03rd August to 16th August, 2023.

🔸Information of conduct of the Expression Series should be given to all students.
ii. For participation in Expression Series activities, i.e. Essays/ Paragraphs/ Paintings/Poems etc., please use format given at Annexure I.
iii. Photographs / Essays can be written in Hindi or English.
iv. Schools shall complete the evaluation of entries and shortlist one entry per class category (total 04 entries from a school) for onward submission
to CBSE.
v. Entries must be supported by a Certificate of the Head of the Institution/

b.Submission of the Shortlisted Entry by Schools to CBSE:
i. Schools can submit/upload the entries from 17th August, to 28th August, 2023 using an android phone through CBSE Expression Series App available at Google Play store. For guidelines of the
process of submission, please see Annexure II.
ii. Each participant will get an online certificate of participation at the
registered e-mail ID after the successful submission of entry on CBSE
Expression Series App.
iii.10 best entries of each category will be selected by each CBSE
Regions for selection of winners at National Level.
iv.Three best entries will be selected at the national level. All of these
best entries shall be compiled in the form of a booklet for display on
CBSE website.
v. 10 best entries at the Regional Level (160 entries from 16 ROs) and
03 best entries at the National Level will be given an online certificate of merit by the Board. The Certificate will be mailed to the registered e-mail ID of the school.
c. The decision of the evaluation committee shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
