One who would compose a story on the spot
Second, a student who would do graphic/digital illustration
Third, one student who would do the narration of that story
🔺Students those who have good command over language, have strong communication skills and can do graphic designing/illustration on apps like Sketchbook pro, Procreate can attend this session

Dear Parents

Circular No. ACAD-48/2021
Subject: Creative Writing Competition to mark the Celebration of 400th Birth Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji from 1st May, 2021 to February 2022
🔺CBSE in collaboration with NCERT is organizing creative writing competition to celebrate the 400th Birth Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji.
🔺Levels of Competition
1. School Level
2. Regional Level
3. National Level
🔺CBSE will organize this competition at two levels (school and regional)
🔺Competition at School Level (To be organized by individual School)
1.We will conduct the competition in an online mode from 24thJune to 19th July 2021 as per the following details that are shared along with the message.
2. The students can choose any one theme and one writing form.
3. The Paragraph/Essay/Poem can be submitted in Hindi or English language.
4. We shall complete the evaluation of entries by 24th July 2021 and shortlist one entry per
category per writing form for onward submission to CBSE.
5. Schools will give participation certificates to all their students participating in this competition at this level.
Competition at Regional Level (To be organized by CBSE)
6. The students who have been selected by the schools will participate at regional level in the month of September 2021.
7. Topic/Theme will be given by CBSE from the life and times of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji.
8. The competition will be held in all the above three mentioned categories and in all the
writing forms (Paragraph, Essay, Poem) as mentioned above.
9. All the participants will be give an e-Certificate by CBSE.
10. The Board will forward the top 200 participants (inclusive of all categories and writing
forms)from each CBSE Region to NCERT for the National Level Competition.
Competition at National Level (To be conducted by NCERT)
11. The National Level competition will be organised by NCERT in collaboration with SCERTs through MyGov Platform from 1st January to 28th February 2022.
12. Awards will be declared by NCERT.

e-Raksha Competition 2021

In times of Covid-19 pandemic, virtual classrooms have become the new norm and digital media has become an invaluable tool for the children and youth to continue their learning.
🔺Internet has become one of the prime sources of information, collaboration and social interaction across the globe. 🔺It is, therefore, the urgent need of the hour to educate the young mind about the potential of Internet for their learning and growth and become smart and safe.
🔺CIET-NCERT in collaboration with CyberPeace Foundation has been spreading awareness amongst children and young adults on the need to be safe, smart and resilient in the cyber space through the ‘e-Raksha Competition’.
🔺The e-Raksha Competition 2021 has been launched and the theme of the competition is:
‘My Idea of a Safe and Peaceful Cyber Space’
‘मेरी सोच…सà¥à¤°à¤•à¥à¤·à¤¿à¤¤ और शांतिपूरà¥à¤£ ऑनलाइन दà¥à¤¨à¤¿à¤¯à¤¾â€™
🔺Objectives of the competition-
*To provide a creative and important outlet to children and young people who are currently confined at home due to Covid-19 pandemic, to reflect and share about being safe and responsible on the Internet.
*To inculcate Digital Citizenship and Online Safety Skills especially when students are spending much of their time in the digital space for learning and social activities.
*To involve the young minds and give them platform to voice their ideas and suggestions.
🔺The CIET-NCERT invites students from class 6 onwards, teachers across all classes and also parents/caregivers to participate in the contest which is free of cost.
🔺The participants have to share their original ideas, suggestions and safety precautions in the form of poster, painting, video, essay, blog or any prototype of software application, aligning with the theme of the competition. 🔺Entries can be submitted in Hindi or English. 🔺Best entries will be awarded prizes and certificates. 🔺Winners will also be given the title of ‘Cyber Peace Ambassadors’.
🔺The details of the competition are enclosed in the Poster attached and also available on the eRaksha Website (www.eraksha.net).

*Olympics Quiz – ‘Road to Tokyo 2020’

🔺As you are aware that the Tokyo Olympics 2020 have been scheduled to be held from 23rdJuly 2021 to 5thSeptember 2021.
🔺With a view to extend our morale support to the Indian contingent, it has been decided to create awareness amongst the countrymen about the Olympics and Indian participation before the start of Olympics – 2020.
🔺In this regard, Sports Authority of India and Indian Olympic Association have jointly planned a series of activities for engaging people of all age groups in an interactive manner which include an Olympics Quiz named as ‘Road to Tokyo 2020’with rewards for the lucky winners.
Please note that:
*It is a multiple-choice online quiz conducted in English & Hindi.
*The quiz will have 10 questions from multiple themes – History of Olympics, Sports & Disciplines,
Past Achievements of Athletes, World Records, Current and Past Indian Athletes.
*Only one attempt per person is allowed.
*In case of tie in scores, the fastest completed score will be considered.
*Every day upto 10 lucky winners will be awarded Indian Team / Fan Jersey
*Lucky winner will get a chance to meet the Olympian
