Subject: Veer Gatha Project in the honour of Gallantry Award Winners.
🔺To honour the acts of bravery and sacrifice of the officers/personnel of the Armed Forces, other lawfully-constituted Forces and Civilians, gallantry awards are announced twice in a year on the occasion of Republic Day and Independence Day.
🔺In order to disseminate the details of acts of bravery and the life stories of these brave- hearts among the students, it has been proposed by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) that school students may be motivated to do projects/activities based on gallantry award winners.
🔺Accordingly, the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, is organising the Veer Gatha Project from 21st October to 20th November 2021.
🔺As part of Veer Gatha Project, the students can frame different projects on gallantry award winners and the best project will be awarded by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Ministry of Education (MoE) on the forthcoming Republic Day i.e. on 26th January, 2022.
🔺For CBSE Schools, the Veer Gatha Project may be launched on CBSE IT platform.
🔺The links for these platforms will be communicated separately.
🔺Detailed instructions/schedules are available on the website of Ministry of Defence (MoD), Ministry of Education (MoE) as well as CBSE which can be accessed at the following:

🔺The Project need not be in the written form of a file. Interdisciplinary and art-integrated activities like Poem, Essay, Painting, Multi-Media Presentation (Enactment Video) etc. can be an activity to be done by individual students as a Project to participate.

🔺Timeline for Conducting Activities by Schools affiliated to CBSE:
▪️21st October to 15th November- Conduct of Activities at the School Level: 2021. School will conduct the activities on the above topics.
▪️1st November to 30th November 2021-
School will upload 01 best entry per category, a total of 04 from each school, at the CBSE Veer Gatha portal.
▪️Maximum 04 entries can be uploaded from one school.
▪️Please note that the CBSE Veer Gatha Project Portal will be open for submission of entries from 1st November 2021 till 30th November 2021.
▪️25 best entries, collectively from the participants at CBSE and MyGov Portals, will be selected for awards as per the following details:

🔺Award:
i. 25 selected entries will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- by the Ministry of Defence.

▪️All students whose entry is uploaded on the CBSE Veer Gatha portal will get an E- certificate of Participation.

🔺Our school is organising an Inter-house Badminton Competition (offline) for Grades 3-5 on 25th October, 2021.
🔺 You all are requested to submit the names of the participants by 21st October (latest by 5pm) 2021
🔺 Entries later than 5 pm will not be accepted.

🔺 Once we receive the entries we will draw a lottery on 22nd October, 2021 to select the final participants.

Dear parents
🔺We are organizing Rangoli making competition on 25th october 2021 for
Grade 9-11 and the theme for the event is Water Rangoli.
1. Four participants from each house, one from each class and one from any section.
2. Rangoli art should be of 2 ft x 2 ft max.
3. Maximum time to complete the Rangoli is one and half hours.
4. Material used could be any as per the theme(Water Rangoli). But ready made decorative items like decorated candles etc. are strictly not allowed.
4. Teams will be responsible for arrangement of the material required to
prepare Rangoli.
5. One house teacher is compulsory to be there in the team.
6. The decisions of the Judges will be final.
🔺Judging Criteria:
Judgment will be based on the following Criteria-
1. Overall Appearance and appeal
2. Details and Clarity in Rangoli art
3. Color combination
4. Orginality
