Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN) simulations are popular exercises for those interested in learning more about the United Nations. Students take on the roles of diplomats from different countries, representing their nation in discussions on a particular agenda at the conference. These agendas reflect issues taken up by the UN for discussion. This activity takes place at MUN conferences which h is usually organized by the students of high school.

Sangam School has been aiming at educating the students about current events, topics in international relations by organising Sangam International Model United Nations (SIMUN) every year in the premises where students actively take part and showcase their eloquence. During the pandemic, for the first time ever, SIMUN went online and two editions of it were organized in June and December respectively. Sangamites have also been actively serving as executive board members in various eminent MUN conferences and achieving great heights. The school has also hosted IIMUN and MUN4India.
