Sangam School of Excellence is proud to announce an initiative “Samvedna”, which has been taken for students with special educational needs, and are enrolled in special schools. This initiative has been planned to foster empathy among Sangamites along with promoting inclusion.. These kids with special needs get a chance to explore areas like sports, dance and art with Sangamites and experienced faculty at our school..!
Sangam school invited students from Saawaliya Bahuuddeshiya Viklang Sewa Sansthan, Chittorgarh on 12th Feb 2020. These students have intellectual disability or speech and hearing impairment, and were accompanied by their special educators.
During this visit, the focus was on team games and students engaged in various games like Balancing race with soccer cone, Hoola Hoops relay, Tunnel relay, Overhead pass game, Sign up game, and fun with Parachute.
They spent a day at Sangam playing team games along with our students, and won many exciting gifts!!
Our students learnt the fine difference between sympathy and empathy, and realised that these kids had special needs, but were strong individuals who needed no sympathy, and appreciated empathy!
